The station lamp, known as the "salad bowl", was the typical lighting at the stations and operating facilities of the Deutsche Reichsbahn for decades. The versions in terms of mast and lamp shape also vary in the prototype depending on the type, but the lampshade reminiscent of a "salad bowl" is always unmistakable. Even today, the "salad bowl" can still be found at almost Allen stations of the Saxon and Harz narrow-gauge railways. Our model corresponds to the model of these railways in a weatherproof design as an injection molding model and a weatherproof painted steel pole.
